We are a small hobby shop dedicated to model railroading in all scales located in beautiful downtown Salt Lake City, Utah. The business was originally started over 35 years ago, and has gone through many moves and ownership changes in that time. The company itself has remained very much the same, and unlike other full service hobby shops that attempt to be the jack of all trades, the Train Shoppe only sells model railroad and related products. We feel like this is the only was to provide the level of expertise and service required to conduct business in this hobby.
If you are in the area be sure to come by and check out our showroom. It features a 35' by 15' O scale layout with both command control and simple transformer controlled trains. We also have an overhead/backyard G scale layout, an operating HO layout, and even an N scale layout built into our sales counter!
